A Ride With Johor Race Spec Saga

ok ok ok, i know its using front Iswara facelift -_-'had the opportunity to meet with Amin Tech from Johor, which 1 of a well known name in Pasir Gudang Clubman Race Series. they participated in Saturday Nite Fever event (race car category), on 10/12/2011 (drive all the way from Johor!), managed to secure 8th position with best time of 1:27mins (kalau tak silap). wut makes me want to know more, coz of the handling. wondering around in their pit (biase la,budak2 lain semua tgk kete mahal), i introduced myself, and they (crew) did share few important points. cool! :D

bare in mind, as they need to follow Johor regulation, both cars running on Silverstone Synergy M3, 13" otr tyres, no slick allowed, stock extractor, stock brake servo and brake system, retain the oem carburetor (yes! bukan injection, or bukan 4 throttle la, drag takpe la takde rules, suke hati mak bapak je), stock air filter box. cite best, the next following day (Ahad), ade RCA track day (private session) and with their permission, i got myself a taxi ride in the blue Saga, driven by Amin himself. i'm speechless, and yet macam nak terjun keluar during turn 12 and turn 13, its handle well and of course, with a very experience driver behind the wheel.
all i need now, to end my drag thingy and start a new track experience. thanks to them la :D, ade perumpaan lame berkata "kalau ko boleh bawak Saga, maka ko boleh bawak kete lain"..(dalam track la adoi)

2012 - New Year?
dyno, setup, dyno, setup, surprisingly dah nak masuk 2012. been listening to all the stories, the lover, the hater, the er..atas pagar? gained more info and yet, require a ridiculous amount of money. *letak lengan atas dahi kejap*...to play along with the big boys (of course with plenty of kechingg $$)..critical thinking for this tiny engine is crucial in order to maximize the power within the budget. but how? pening.. most of the website (matsalleh la luar sane,semua sembang bagi bimbang je,nyanyi lebih) helping sikit je in contribute the info...just theory n theory n theory n theory..and people love to read rather spending time on track/dyno to make it happen. its MORE than what the theory said.
with all the mistakes/testing done previously in 2011, its the cash flow that's matter now. running without main sponsorship (in term of money la, but lots of support from friends,family) i need to boost up a lil' bit more for the coming new year. I've survived in 2011 with achievement, and I'm hoping it would be the same next year but with new fresh appearance.

Toluene + RON97

wut the heck is Toluene? (ron114)

1 of the soon-to-be famous mixture in Malaysia (actually few edi using it, diam2 lor), not hard to find it, aah u can even find it in Sunway.
so, benefit adding up Toluene with RON97?
smells the same, and surely, nobody knows about it.
a cheaper alternative to race fuel, and u can brag all day long about ur special blend of RON97.
power wise? have a try..it's a secret. (proper tuning is advisable)
p/s=if the stated car claimed of having the same specification with your current setup, but it run way faster, i believe logical thinking is involve here. Be smart.

Ceramic Coating By Dynatech :D
i decided to send out my "4-1 Cap Ayam - Non Proven Scavenging Effect" extractor to Dynatech for ceramic coating, saje boring nothing to do la... i'm not a fan of chrome or double chrome thingy, as ahhh.. do Google up lah. Dynatech do offer few types such as Satin Black, Mag Silver, Vista Black and Jet Black.
i end up with Jet Black (withstand up to 2000F) color selection and it took few days to get the job done. it has to go through few complicated process for great result! hehehe.. Ceramic does reduce radiated heat in the engine bay thus resulting in more horsepower..hmmm..i don't have any dyno chart yet to back it up (tho its personal la..hahaha)..but basically its 1 of the improvement that ceramic offered.

Matspeed 320 degree BILLET camshaft for Proton 4G15 4G13 Megavalve

you heard your friend talking cock with their so called "mild-cam" blooming over in drag/street scene, claiming their is the best in the world? nahh..u got it wrong man..how many times do i need to mention not to do it as what mainstream r doing?
u want to go fast, but u stick with the mainstream, come on la..unless if you put some race fuel such as q16 or c16, even stock kancil engine will perform better la with race fuel..what? i'm wrong? yah..wutever dude lolx..
cut to the chase, 1 of proven camshaft in drag scene by Matspeed (yah i know matspeed usually has regrind type only) BUT, thanks to them, billet type 320deg camshaft now available for our beloved 4G15 Megavalve engine. capable revving more than 9000rpm (of course ur compression target will definitely crucial when using this camshaft). jz 2 remind dat this won't suit ur daily use, ye la, dah kate nak race, nak laju, sacrifice la skit, if not, letak race fuel pakai camshaft standard..setel..hahahaha..(sarcastic kan? well..)
u can judge it by looking at the camshaft lobe (refer pic no.2) and its a serious stuff. The kit comes with an aftermarket performance valve spring and titanium retainer.
MATSPEED 320 4G15 Camshaft spec:-
Intake duration 320deg @0.472" (12mm)lift
Exhaust duration 320deg @0.472" (12mm)lift
Lobe separation 110deg
Intake open BTC 50
Intake close ABC 90
Exhaust open BBC 90
Exhaust close ATC 50

a brief details..
drag event held by forum saga utara & gsrforum.net on 1/10/2011, located in Kg.Gajah,Perak.
awesome weather, 1st place in 1.5L category and 2nd place in 1.6L category.
data collected and conclude that 4g15 has reached its end with the stock internal part, in order to cope up with 4G91 & 4g92 (surely la 1.6), i'll need more funding and time to figure out every bits required for next build.
thanks to all my friends who help me out :D..next time kite gempur lagi..remember, 4g15 sohc je bro.. :P..

Sepang Drag Battle - Round 4 2011 (Cari Pasal lol)








seriously, i didn't thought of participating in sepang drag (yet!), thanks to 1 of my friend who did a brain wash session, here i am, rolling out in this round 4 just to get my 1/4 miles time slip.
didn't hope it will run fast with the current setup, plus i do carry more weight as the regulation shown minimum weight will be 750kg in F category (2liter NA), darn! will try to tweak some stuff before the next upcoming event. eventually, the drag was cancelled due to heavy rain & i'm lucky enough to do a practice run. it's a new experience for me, being surrounded with the big boys, adoi! not to mention of having difficulties during pre-stage too!
hoping all things will be ok before new setup hits the road and i'll try to get the best time for 4G15 jz like what Bisimoto did to his D-series. its going to take a huge amount of $$ & time, but most importantly having a promising result. thanks to all my friends, Pitwork in getting the car to run accordingly (last minute bai tukar minyak hitam and tow truck arrangement) hahaha..

KING Engine Bearings For Proton 4G15 Megavalve


okey, another item that i've been waiting for has arrived.
apart of having ACL bearing, another option available will be KING bearing.
as ACL does not produce any RACE series for 4G15 SOHC 1990-1992 (just a normal aluglide and duraglide type), I have no choice but to choose KING. i'm aware of its history, just i need an insurance for my internal parts in future. (not dat typical revving under 8000rpm ok)
